Folder KVAR
The new model from Schnitzel is here and it’s called Kvar! Based on the no-frills design of the popular Schnitzel TRI, a pocket knife has been created that packs a punch. The Kvar is a two-handed folding knife with a strong back-lock mechanism that gives you security when working. This is why the blade root also has a so-called half-stop, which locks the blade when the knife is closed.
As the knife does not have any opening aids, the Kvar also complies with the German §42a, as it is not possible to unlock the knife (as delivered) with one hand.
The blade of the Kvar is made from the familiar Swedish steel Sandvik 14c28n and is approx. 9.2 cm long. The finish of the blade is stonewashed or blackwashed (vacuum titanium coating), depending on the variant. It is approx. 3.7 mm thick, has a flat grind and runs on bronze washers. As with the Tri, the flat handle scales are made from non-slip and robust G-10. For additional reinforcement of the 13.4 mm wide handle construction, stable stainless steel liners are installed inside the handle scales. The pocket clip allows the Kvar to be safely stored in your trouser pocket and can also be used by left-handers, it can be repositioned as desired.
The Kvar is available in four different versions and is supplied in a sturdy box with sticker.
